Director of Planning and Economic Development Town of Londonderry, NH
Salary Range: $97,000.00 – $142,000.00 annually (LEEA Union)
Status: Full-Time, Exempt
The town of Londonderry, NH seeks a visionary leader to serve as Director of Planning and Economic Development. Reporting directly to the Town Manager, the Director provides strategic direction and day-to-day management for the department, overseeing both the Planning and Building divisions.
Key responsibilities include implementing land use policies, economic initiatives, Master Plan updates, and zoning regulations, while serving as a principal advisor to the Town Manager, Town Council, and land use boards.
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in urban planning, public administration, or a related field (master’s preferred), and at least five to seven years of progressively responsible municipal planning and economic development experience, including three years in a supervisory role. AICP certification is highly desirable.
