The town of Milton seeks a Director of Planning and Community Development to lead the town’s planning and economic development efforts. Reporting to the Town Administrator, the Director of Planning and Community Development is responsible for a broad portfolio of responsibilities, which include supporting the Planning Board as its primary staff representative, advising the Town Administrator, Select Board, and other boards and committees on planning initiatives and project management, and leading public engagement efforts.

Bachelor’s degree in planning, community development, public administration or a related field required; master’s degree preferred; minimum of three years of experience in land use or planning; two years of supervisory experience preferred; equivalent combinations of education and experience may be substituted.

Full salary range: $90,072- $116,568. Salary DOQ.
