Working under the general direction of the Town Administrator, the employee is responsible for the administration of the town’s technology network. Work includes: administering town’s technology network; providing user support for software, hardware including all computers, servers, routers/switches/firewalls, VoIP telephone system, cellular phones and peripherals; managing all aspects of cybersecurity for the town; providing design enhancements and updates for the town’s websites; solving end user questions and resolving problems as needed; coordinates end user training in operating system, network, and applications; procuring equipment and services; and performing a variety of technical support and assistance functions.
