The town of Andover, including the Andover Public Schools, seeks an experienced and talented human resource professional to direct and administer all related human resource functions, including but not limited to: recruitment, benefits administration, wage and salary administration, classification reviews, collective bargaining negotiations, as well as managing labor and employee relations for approximately 1,400 town and school employees.

The Director reports to the Town Manager and the Superintendent of Schools, and is a member of both leadership teams.

Successful candidates will have significant experience administering and overseeing human resource functions, preferably in a municipal environment and excellent communication skills including interpersonal skills, writing and verbal skills, and presentation skills.  Salary: $135-155K, commensurate with experience.
