The town of Upton, Massachusetts, seeks an innovative, dynamic, passionate Director of Elder and Social Services to serve the community in the new state-of-the-art community center.
The Director will plan, develop, implement, and advocate for programs and services offered to the older population; supervise all staff and volunteers; and serve as the ADA Coordinator. Oversees and manages the department’s operating and capital budgets, grant management, and administers the programs and services.
Qualified candidates shall have a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in health, human services, or a related field, a master’s degree preferred, with five or more years of experience working with the adult population in a social service or public health position or a related field; supervisory experience desirable; or any equivalent combination of education and experience.
