The town of Belchertown is accepting applications for a full-time Director of Assessments who is responsible for implementing municipal assessing procedures in accordance with MGL and DOR regulations. Performs appraisal and classification of real and personal property, manages the department’s operations, and supports the Board of Assessors, Town Manager, and other municipal departments.
Minimum qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, economics, or related field; three years’ experience in assessing, municipal finance, or real estate; or combination. MAA designation preferred with ability to obtain; Valid Massachusetts Driver’s License required.
Hiring range is $82,318 – $105,084.
