The city of Worcester seeks applicants for a Director of Applications (Production and Development Manager) for the Department of Innovation and Technology. This position is responsible for the life cycle planning of business applications through the phases of strategize, architect, select, deploy, operate, evolve, and retire. The position will manage the application group, including custom development, ERP, digital, GIS, SaaS, and business analysis teams. The group is responsible for building or configuring, maintaining, enhancing, and eventually decommissioning applications through their life cycle. This position will oversee all activities that optimize the value, cost and risk of applications and will have primary responsibility for ensuring that applications cost effectively meet the needs of the business.
Salary Range: $82,017-$126,743 annually, full-time, exempt, with an excellent benefit package.
