The town of Southampton is seeking Senior Center Director. This position, which averages 32 hours a week, will lead a team to provide services and activities to the Southampton senior population. Under the supervision of the Town Administrator, and in collaboration with the COA Board, this person will oversee the daily operation of the Council on Aging, develop and implement programs, supervise personnel, manage departmental budget, file annual reports and other required materials, maintain accurate records of the COA’s activities, write annual grants, prepare/submit COA payroll and respond to the public at large in an effort to provide services to Southampton seniors. Salary: $39,071 to $64,578/yr. Step determined by years of experience.
Bachelors’ degree in social sciences, gerontology, human services or related field. Past experience working with older adults and/or municipal experience. Passing CORI check required.
