The town of Charlton is seeking a qualified candidate to fill a full-time opening for Deputy Fire Chief. Minimum qualifications include bachelor’s degree in related field, minimum of 10 years experience in a fire department with seven years in a full-time supervisory role. Completion of Mass Fire Academy Career Recruit Training or equivalent, Pro Board Firefighter I and II, valid Mass Class D Drivers license, Current Mass EMT Certification, Pro Board Hazardous Materials Operations Level Certification, NIMS 700 & 800, ICS 100,200 and 300 and ability to reside within 20 miles of the Charlton town line within 12 month of appointment. Extension can be granted of up to six months for residency.
