Brookline DPW seeks a Deputy Director of Sustainability and Natural Resources with a proven track record of leading impactful climate action and decarbonization initiatives to manage current and future climate action programs, drive energy efficiency, implement sustainable policies, and reduce fossil fuel consumption across Brookline.
Ideal candidates have five-plus years of sustainability experience, a strong background in climate action planning, leadership and communication skills, grant writing expertise; bachelor’s in environmental sciences, environmental policy, or related (master’s degree preferred), and in-depth knowledge of climate change science, sustainability standards and energy management programs such as Mass Energy Insight/Energy Star.
