Looking for the next Deputy City Manager-Finance for the Capital City of Concord, NH (Pop: 44,000), a classic New England city and one of the finest communities in the country. Seeking a highly motivated, experienced individual who can work in a team environment to provide leadership and policy direction for the city and manage a Finance department staff of approximately 20, responsible for a full range of municipal services including: Accounting, Budget Management, Purchasing, Treasury and Tax Collection. In addition to overseeing the financial operations and management of the city this individual will develop future strategies to position the city to maximize potential opportunities and mitigate risks and challenges. Under the direction of the City Manager, provides recommendations/advice to the City Council and Council committees, City Manager, department heads, and other city personnel.
