The town of Bellingham is hiring a Deputy Assistant Treasurer/Collector. This position is a full-time (40 hours/week) hourly position responsible for assisting the Treasurer/Collector with the receipt, disbursement, and banking of town funds. Knowledge and ability to process collection, treasury, and payroll functions of the Treasurer/Collector office, and any related work, as required.
High school diploma with two or more years of prior or related work experience desirable. MCTA staff courses or certification desired.
Ability to be bonded as a condition of employment. Thorough working knowledge of Treasurer/Collector office procedures, practices and all related Mass. General Laws.
