Under the supervision of the DPW Director, assists with the planning and implementation of a variety of public works programs. Internship is intended to provide support for permit compliance, increased public awareness, outreach and engagement while providing mentorship for students interested in pursuing a career related to public service or public works.
Qualifications: Completion of at least one year towards an associate’s or bachelor’s degree or current enrollment in a vocational program. Preferred programs of study include geographic information systems, environmental, engineering, construction or a related field.
