The town of Leicester is seeking a full-time Department Assistant in the Development & Inspectional Services (DIS) Department. Working under the direction of the Town Planner/DIS Director, the Department Assistant is responsible for providing skilled administrative and clerical services, including preparing board/commission meeting agendas and packets, taking meeting minutes, processing permits, preparing memoranda, forms and reports, preparing the department’s payroll, maintaining records, and monitoring department income and expenditure.
