Council on Aging Director

The town of Ipswich is seeking a dynamic and innovative candidate for the full-time exempt position of Council on Aging Director. The town of Ipswich is proud to host a vibrant, active, and supportive Council on Aging department servicing a population of 4,860 older adults. Team of nine staff members and approximately 225 volunteers. The Council on Aging runs a comprehensive transportation program for both in-town opportunities and out-of-town medical appointments. A large variety of programs and activities are offered through the Senior Center and include travel, educational programs, fitness classes, cards and games, health programs, and life enrichment opportunities. The active Senior Center is a home to many and welcomes creative suggestions from all members as well as the community.

Compensation commensurate with qualifications; anticipated salary range of $76,000-$78,000.
