The city of Worcester is seeking applicants for a Contract Compliance Officer (CCO) for the Purchasing Division in the department of Administration and Finance. The position is responsible for the oversight and administration of the city’s contract compliance programs as they pertain to public construction projects and the associated Bid Invitations, Requests for Proposals (RFP), Requests for Qualifications (RFQ) and any other similar solicitations. Monitoring, reporting, analysis and enforcement of compliance with these programs including the city’s Responsible Employer Ordinance and Minority and Women Business Enterprise and Worker Utilization Goals. Monitoring and enforcement of prevailing wage compliance on all City public construction projects across all departments. Maintain presence at each work site and interview workers, supervisory personnel, and others regarding prevailing wage compliance and other city compliance related policies and procedures. Investigate complaints of violations of prevailing wage law on city public construction projects. Assist the Purchasing Agent and Assistant Purchasing Agents with other departmental duties, including bid solicitations as needed.
SALARY RANGE: $69,898 – $91,542 annually, full-time, exempt with an excellent benefits package.
