The town of Dartmouth is seeking a full-time, Conservation Officer for 40 hours per week. This position is responsible for, but not limited to, providing support to the Conservation Commission in carrying out its mandate and its mission to protect the community’s natural resources including its bio-diversity, unique natural areas, wetlands and other water resources. Qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in environmental science or related field and a minimum of two years’ experience in wetlands protection, land conservation, environmental management or related field; or the equivalent combination of education and experience. Candidates must have a valid Massachusetts Class D Motor Vehicle Operator’s license.
The salary range for this position is $27.84 – $36.23 per hour.
