This position is responsible for administering the Massachusetts Wetlands Protection Act and the local Wetlands By-laws. The salary range, depending on experience, is $68,039.20 – $78,876.09 (probationary step through step five of a 10 step salary matrix with a top step of $91,438.99), annually based upon 40 hours a week, 52 weeks a year. This is a Monday – Thursday position. There is also a very generous benefits package, including paid time off, professional development opportunities, health and dental insurance (paid at 68% and 75% of the premiums) and other contracted benefits. All are in accordance with current CBA. This is a non-exempt overtime position. Attendance at the Conservation Commission meetings, every first and third Wednesday at 6 p.m., is required.
