Join Our Team! Foxborough is Hiring a Community Substance Use Coordinator
The Community Substance Use Coordinator is a civilian position funded by Opioid Settlement Funds received by the town of Foxborough that will provide crisis intervention as it relates to substance use, advocacy, short-term counseling, case management, community outreach and education, and other social service assistance to the Foxborough Police and Fire/EMS (Public Safety) departments.
The role is imbedded in Foxborough’s renowned Public Safety departments and will be overseen by the town’s restructured Director of Clinical Services position. The role will require collaboration with public safety personnel on scene and in the field to provide crisis intervention and assessment of substance use/behavioral health needs.
Master’s in social work, mental health counseling (LMHC), or LADC, LICSW preferred. Experience in counseling, advocacy, and/or case management for individuals with substance use disorder, and co-occurring mental illness Substance Use disorder required, with a minimum of three years’ experience preferred, or any equivalent combination of education and experience.
