Brookline Planning Department is seeking a Community Planner to assist with affordable housing initiatives and administration and oversight for the town’s federal entitlement programs – CDBG and HOME, and provide staff support to the Housing Advisory Board, CDBG Advisory Committee and other committees as necessary.


Bachelor’s degree in planning, public administration or a related field; master’s degree desirable; three to five years of experience in a community development-related program; housing programs administration, grant administration and/or program management; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Valid Driver’s License, Class D.

Starting salary $39.05/hourly,  plus generous benefits.
