The MWRA Advisory Board is hiring a Community Insights and Engagement Lead. This role is about substance, not spin: you’ll pair sharp analytical skills with creative communication to translate budgets, policy, and technical material into clear messages for the communities and ratepayers we serve.
What you’ll do: manage our CRM and member contact lists; lead social and digital campaigns; draft email, web, and blog content; maintain our WordPress site; and help produce multimedia (ABTV, short-form video, and podcast initiative[s]). You’ll also support document production and keep recurring outreach cycles running smoothly.
You’ll thrive here if you’re a lifelong learner, organized, and team-minded; comfortable with data (Excel/Sheets) and turning insights into visuals and plain-English explanations; excited about working in a small, collaborative organization; and motivated by public service.
Nice-to-haves: Constant Contact, WordPress, Canva/Prezi/Camtasia, ClickUp; experience in municipal/state or public-sector settings.
Requirements: Relevant education and/or professional experience that shows you can do the job (Bachelor’s preferred); about five years of related work; strong writing and follow-through.
