The town of Douglas seeks qualified candidates for the full time role of Director of Community Development. This is a unique opportunity for a forward-thinking, committed public servant to administer land use decision making processes and grant seeking for a dynamic community with extensive residential and economic development projects. The Director reports to the Town Administrator and is accountable to the job description posted with other job application materials at www.douglas-ma.gov. The town will consider candidates with either a planning or a civil engineering background. To be considered, candidates must have a bachelor’s degree in their field and no less than five years of personnel and project management experience. This role is a salaried, supervisory, exempt, fully benefitted position requiring a minimum of 40 hours of work per week. Starting salary range from $88,460 to $105,686 DQE.
