The town of Natick is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Community and Economic Development (CED) Office Manager within the Department of Community and Economic Development. This position plays a vital role in managing the CED administrative team and overseeing administrative functions related to permitting, financial operations, and other office responsibilities. The Office Manager also provides support to the Director of Community and Economic Development and the Building Commissioner.

This role is a key leadership position within the administrative CED team, is highly visible to the public, and requires exceptional customer service and strong computer skills.

Recommended Minimum Qualifications
Education and Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree and two years of relevant supervisory experience; or
• Any equivalent combination of five years of relevant experience, including at least two years in a supervisory capacity.
Special Requirements:
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
• Working knowledge of electronic municipal permitting systems (such as OpenGov or similar).
• Experience or familiarity with Massachusetts municipal government and local government office operations preferred.

Compensation and Benefits:
The starting salary range is $65,000 to $75,000 annually, commensurate with qualifications and experience. This is a full-time, exempt position. The town of Natick offers an excellent benefits package.
