The Communications Manager will work on department wide communications, media related functions, and enhance CDD’s visibility through various communication channels. A successful candidate will be highly collaborative, self motivated, and well organized with excellent interpersonal communication skills and the ability to work strategically and tactically. We are seeking candidates with a strong commitment to equity and respect, both in the provision of services and in the workplace. Bachelor’s degree in communications, English or a related field; plus four years of communications experience; an equivalent combination of education, training and experience may be considered. A master’s degree in a related field may be substituted for two years of work experience. Experience working with design templates for flyers, posters, and other materials that align with branding guidelines. Experience implementing communications campaigns and developing web content. Excellent written and oral communication skills and strong interpersonal skills; ability to relate to diverse audiences and convey ideas in plain language.

Proficient use of social media for professional communications (i.e., Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram). $79,339-$95,870 annually. We are an AA/EEO employer.
