The purpose of this position is to perform administrative, clerical, technology support, social media and record keeping tasks. Assist the Council on Aging (COA) Department and performs all other related work as required in an office setting. Performs varied duties requiring a thorough knowledge of departmental operations and ability to complete assigned tasks and work with customer service support in situations not clearly defined by current procedures. Under the supervision of the Council on Aging Director.
Skill in the use of computer technology, bookkeeping and record keeping. Excellent customer service and public relations skills. Expertise in operating above mentioned equipment. Ability to assist and train technological skills to the senior citizen population. Maintain a professional demeanor. Ability to keep client’s needs, facts and medical information confidential.
