The position performs a variety of administrative & clerical duties centered around elections, City Council, & vital records.
Responsibilities include:
- Recording, indexing & storage of birth/death/marriage record
- Receive marriage intentions and prepare marriage licenses
- Register voters & assist in election preparation;
- Prepare daily deposit of departmental receipts for the Treasurer’s department
- Post & maintain records of all public meetings
- Receive and process claims against the city;
- Assist in annual renewal of dog licenses;
Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma or equivalent.
