The town of Reading is accepting applications for the position of Civil Engineer II in the DPW.
Performs complex and professional engineering work in the provision of office and engineering support and field engineering support for environmental, water, sewer, roads, and other Public Works projects and programs ensuring technical competence and compliance with all current codes and criteria; serves as a Project Manager. This position is governed under the town of Reading Department of Public Works Engineers Union.
Expected Hiring Range: $34.25-$37.39 per hour*
Different title/pay scale shall be applied contingent upon experience/licensure (Senior Civil Engineer, Civil Engineer III, etc.)
Minimum Qualifications
1. Graduation from a four-year college or university with a bachelor of science degree in civil engineering or a closely related program;
2. Minimum of two years of public works related experience.
3. EIT May be substituted for experience.
4. Driver’s License
