Under the direction of the City Council, the City Clerk will perform the responsibilities of Clerk to the City Council, serve as a member of the Board of Registrars, and supervise City Clerk department personnel and office functions.  In addition, the City Clerk has independent statutory authority to perform duties in accordance with the provisions cited in the city charter, city ordinances, rules and orders of the City Council, and Massachusetts General Laws. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree and five years of progressively responsible experience in public administration, records management, office management, or a related field; or any equivalent combination of education and experience. Legal background preferred. Must be Woburn resident. Salary $121,029.87.
