The town of Leicester is seeking a full-time Building Department Administrator. Position is responsible for, but not limited to, scheduling appointments, customer service, telephone and email work, filing, issuance of building permits, billing and collections. Successful applicant will be well organized and be able to run a busy department with minimal supervision. Office is subject to frequent interruptions, requiring the ability to multitask.

Qualifications: high school graduate, college degree preferred; three years of general office experience; municipal background desired. Knowledge of Word, Excel, and other software platforms. Must pass a CORI check.

Hourly rate: $22.93-$26.38 per hour, based on a 38-hour workweek, depending on qualifications. The town also offers competitive benefits, including a Monday-Thursday four-day workweek.
