The town of Fairhaven is seeking a full-time Assistant Sewer Superintendent. The primary function of this position is to provide assistance to the Superintendent of the Sewer Department in the planning, direction, coordination and implementation of the operations of the Sewer Department. Regarding policies, managing daily operations and planning the use and allocation of materials and manpower, as well as operation, maintenance and development of the wastewater treatment facility; completion of all appropriate administrative duties, related documentation, resident interaction and service work in a timely manner; abiding by all municipal, state and federal guidelines, regulations and quality standards; and ensuring safe, courteous and professional behavior is observed in all situations. This position requires a Grade-6C Wastewater Operators Certification, as required by the commonwealth of Massachusetts, which is current and in good standing as well as a Collection System License. Starting salary: $70,331.04-$85,691.42.
