Summary of Duties and Responsibilities: 

Under the general supervision of the Planning Director and Zoning Administrator (Department Manager), the Assistant Zoning Administrator and E911 Coordinator is responsible for assisting the Department Manager in administering the city’s development review process in accordance with the city’s ordinances and relevant state statutes, as well as assisting with the enforcement of the zoning regulations provided in the city’s land use development regulations. In addition, the candidate will be responsible with coordinating addresses within the city of Rutland with the state of Vermont and landowners. Work is performed under the general direction of the Department Manager, and may be reviewed upon completion to ensure conformance with departmental rules and regulations. See our ad or contact
