This position is responsible for assisting the Treasurer/Collector in the customer service work of collections and the processing thereof, internal receipt of the turnover of revenues and the processing thereof, cash management, back-up of the payroll processing and acting in the absence of the Treasurer/Collector.
The ideal candidate shall possess an associate degree in accounting or business or a related field plus three years of related work experience; or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. Preference is given to those with prior front-line customer service experience, preferably in a municipal setting.
