The town of Auburn is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Assistant Town Engineer within the Department of Public Works. Under the direct supervision of the Town Engineer, the Assistant Town Engineer assists in all aspects of the Engineering Division. Responsibilities include plan reviews, construction inspections, planning, estimating, construction administration of the town’s annual roadway reconstruction and resurfacing program, as well as assisting in the implementation of the town’s Stormwater Management Program.

Applicants shall possess a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from an accredited college or university and five years of experience or any equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities. Registration as a Professional Engineer in Massachusetts is preferred.

This is a full-time 37.5hr/week position with a salary range of $85,000 to $95,000.
