Brookline seeks an Assistant Town Clerk to be responsible for a wide variety of legal and regulatory processes in support of the Town Clerk, including administration of elections, management of official documents and public records, issuance of various licenses and permits, processing of vital statistics, and recording the actions of the Town Meeting; other related work.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s in business management, records management, public administration, or related field; five years of supervisory and records management experience in municipal government, preferably in a town/city Clerk’s office; or any equivalent combination of education and experience.

Starting salary: $89,235, generous benefits.
