The town of Groveland is seeking a qualified part-time (10hrs/wk) Assistant Town Clerk. The position provides comprehensive administrative and clerical support to the Town Clerk’s Office. The Assistant Town Clerk shall, in the absence of the Clerk, perform the duties, have the powers and be subject to the requirements applicable to the Town Clerk. Working knowledge of municipal government, state statutes and bylaws relating to the duties of the Town Clerk’s Office is highly desirable. The successful candidate will have a high school diploma and some college is preferred. Must have a minimum of three years of office and customer service experience, preferably in a municipal setting or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
