The Assistant Town Clerk performs highly responsible administrative and record keeping work with respect to all functions of the Town Clerk’s office; provides support to the Town Clerk; all other related work, as required. Assumes responsibility for Town Clerk functions in the absence of the Town Clerk. Performs customer service work, supporting town operations, and providing assistance to the public. Associate’s degree in political science, public administration or related field, one to three years of experience.
