An opportunity to Assist the Town Administrator with a variety of complex administrative, budgetary, financial, and technical duties in the daily administration of the town. The successful candidate will be capable of administering the town’s bylaws, rules, regulation, policies and procedures, in close connection with the Treasurers, Assessors, and Accounting Offices, while assisting all other town offices in budgetary matters, and in collaboration with the School Department.

Bachelor’s degree required; master’s degree in business administration, public administration, public policy, finance or related field is highly preferred.  A minimum of five years experience in a comparable municipal role. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and MUNIS experience is highly desirable.

This is a Non-Union Exempt, full-time, 40 hour per week, fully benefited position, with a starting salary of $153,000.00, commensurate with experience, working the hours of the Town Administrators Office.

All full-time and some part-time employees will need to complete a pre-employment physical and drug-screening examination. Certain positions will also require a CORI criminal background screening. The town reserves the right to modify the application deadline and/or accept applications after the deadline in order to best serve the interest of the community.

After the submission deadline, the Human Resources Department and a review committee will review all completed applications and will select the most highly-qualified respondents for interviews.
