The town of Stow is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Assistant Town Administrator.  This newly created position is full-time, 37.5 hours, FLSA exempt, and is perfect for a dynamic, creative, and enthusiastic individual looking to make a big difference in a small town.  The position serves as the Human Resources Director and Constituent Services Administrator and assists the Town Administrator in a wide range of functional areas and initiatives and performs a wide variety of special projects and tasks as assigned. Performs other related work as required.

Bachelor’s degree in public or business administration, human resources management, or a closely related field; master’s degree preferred.  Five to seven years of related administrative experience preferably in a municipal setting; or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.  Must possess a valid Massachusetts Class D Motor Vehicle Operator’s License. HR Certification is desirable.

Salary: Grade 8 of the town’s new Compensation and Wage Schedule, with FY22 salary as Step 1 – $86,873. Benefit eligible.
