Position: Assistant Town Accountant
Location: Town Hall Annex, 20 Centre Street, Middleborough, MA
Status: Full-time (40 hours per week)
Wages: Grade B, Step 1, $34.5703 per hour – Grade B, Step 15, $52.1950 per hour, In accordance with the current General Municipal Employee Group (GMEG) contract in 15 annual steps
The town of Middleborough seeks qualified applicants for the position of Assistant Town Accountant. This municipal finance position is under the management of the Director of Finance.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or public administration, or equivalent experience, plus practical knowledge of municipal accounting procedures and practices; familiarity with Mass. General Laws pertaining to municipal accounting.
