Coordinates all designated functions of the Town Administrator’s office to produce professional work products and services for the Town Administrator, Assistant Town Administrator and the Board of Selectmen. Assists in the management of strategic communications initiatives for the town and works as a liaison between Littleton’s community, boards, committees, and town officials to manage community engagement.  Performs a wide variety of project based duties, complex administrative and clerical duties under the broad supervision of the Assistant Town Administrator.

Assists in the implementation of an integrated communications strategy for the town incorporating media broadcasts, written materials, social media trends and applications. Enhances the public communications between the town government and Littleton residents highlights the town’s services. Researches and implements approved new social media outlets, multi-media productions including brochures, newsletters, maintains town website content (working with the IT Director), and assists departments with updating the content on their web pages.  Integrates town website and links to offsite content to create unified portal of information access.  Draft and distribute approved press releases, coordinate press events and assist the Town Administrator and town department heads with media requests. Participates in planning new web services developing standards and evaluating and implementing content management solutions.

Education, Training and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, public relations or related field; five years progressively responsible experience in administrative office management experience; or any equivalent combination of education and experience in municipal government.

Salary Range: $59,946 to $74,896
