The Wellesley Municipal Light Plant seeks highly qualified candidates for an Assistant Director position. This is an opportunity to join one of the top municipal light plants in the state of Massachusetts.
This position supports leadership efforts and overall management of the WMLP. This position provides business and financial expertise as well as support to Engineering and Operations. Prepares operating budgets, financial forecasts, rate evaluations and five year capital plans. Assists in the procurement of power supply in compliance with the Power Supply Policy of the WMLP. Leads the MLP management team to support successful completion of team objectives. Promotes a positive team culture, displays leadership qualities to motivate employees to work as a team.
