The town of Acton is seeking applicants for the full-time, benefitted position of the Assistant Director of Public Works/Town Engineer. This position will report directly to the Director of Public Works.
This is a senior-level, professional, and confidential position responsible for planning, organizing, and managing the Engineering Division while assisting with the overall administration and operations of the department of Public Works (DPW).
Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering with a minimum of five years of work experience in civil engineering and public works management with at least three years of supervisory/managerial experience, including some exposure to project management, construction design, budgeting, and contract administration or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
Pay range $104k to $136k depending on qualifications.
