The Assistant Director of Planning and Community Development supports the Director in all aspects of planning, zoning, community development, and infrastructure review. This role involves administrative, technical, and community-facing work related to private and municipal
projects, grant management, zoning bylaw support, and interdepartmental coordination.

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in planning, or a related field; three years of experience in municipal planning, or a related field; or any equivalent combination of education and experience. American Institute of Certified Planners (AICP) certification desirable. Municipal experience not required.

Salary Range: Starting $75,121.80 – $83,168.72
