This position will play a lead role in the design and implementation of high-impact and sustainable learning, talent, and organizational development programs for a diverse workforce. This role provides oversight of many in-house learning and training programs for a diverse workforce and collaborates and assists with equity and inclusion efforts in the city and with compliance efforts, as needed. These programs will support the growth, skill-building, and development of city employees to cultivate an environment dedicated to continual learning and skill building, as well as working to improve workforce culture to reflect the city’s values of anti-racism, diversity, equity, and inclusion. Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent combination of training and years of experience. Five years of human resources experience required. Demonstrated success in designing and delivering individual, organizational and management training programs. Experience in project management and/or initiative needs analysis, instructional/program design development, implementation, and evaluation. Experience developing and/or managing diversity, equity and inclusion learning programs. $108,162-$128,869 annually with competitive benefits.
