The town of Lynnfield seeks a full-time, benefitted Assistant Conservation Planner, reporting directly to the Director of Planning and Conservation. This position offers a work environment that favors independent effort, exciting project initiatives and collaboration with accomplished colleagues. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing inspectional field support including site visits, maintenance of related documentation and databases, and assistance with review of applications under the Wetlands Protection Act, Lynnfield Wetlands Protection Bylaw, Subdivisions and Lynnfield Tree Preservation Bylaw. The position also includes routine monitoring of Town-owned open spaces, and staff cooperation with the very active Open Space and Recreation Working Group, currently working on exciting local trails development projects. Some general office duties are required.
