The city of Revere seeks qualified and experienced applicants for the position of Assistant Collector. Responsible for providing skilled financial, administrative, and technical work in receipt and custody of municipal funds.
Provide assistance to the Treasurer/Collector to discharge the duties of his/her office including the timely disbursement of associated state and federal reporting requirements, collection of revenue and reconciliation activities as required. Supervise the daily activities of clerks within the Collector’s office.

The ideal candidate shall possess a bachelor’s degree in business or accounting, five years experience billing and collections, one to three years supervisory experience.
