The city of Watertown seeks an individual who will be responsible for the supervision of projects, project planning and management, and inspection of city-related infrastructure and assets as part of our Public Works Department. Working under the general direction of the Superintendent of Public Works and City Engineer, the Assistant City Engineer will assist in conducting studies of engineering projects and help prepare plans for public improvements such as streets and sidewalks; review plans, maps, specifications, cost estimates and other work; performs field inspections of public works and private development construction projects, tests soils and materials, and provides technical assistance as needed to other city departments and consultants.

Salary: this is a union position with a hiring range of $100,680-$108,979 depending on experience and education.
