The city of Gloucester is now accepting applications for the position of Assistant Chief Financial Officer/Treasurer/Collector. The Assistant CFO manages the operations of the Treasurer/Collector’s office. Enforces Massachusetts general laws and other regulations and city ordinances pertaining to the treasurer and collector functions. Manages the productivity and completion of transactions and serves as department head, in the absence of the CFO. Supervises Treasurer/Collector’s office staff, including collection, deposits, and disbursements of funds. Directs reconciliation of accounting records and preparation of related or required monthly, quarterly, and annual reports required by agencies.
