We are currently seeking qualified applicants for the full-time (40 hours/week) position of Arborist in the Department of Public Works. This position is responsible for performing skilled and semi-skilled tasks in the care and maintenance of trees and shrubbery. Qualified applicants will have a high school diploma or the equivalent, as well as two or more years’ experience in tree care. The possession of a valid Class B CDL with Air Brakes endorsement and a Massachusetts Class 2A Hoisting License, or the ability to obtain them, is required.

Employment is contingent upon a pre-placement medical exam with drug screening. Starting hourly rate: $24.21 per hour.
