The town of Dartmouth is seeking a full-time Administrator of Assessing. This position is responsible for the supervision and administration of the Assessing Office. Work includes conducting regular reviews of properties to assess values, overseeing the daily operations of the department and employees, compiling and analyzing data and preparing required reports.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in public administration, finance, or related field and a minimum of five years of experience as an Assistant Assessor, or appraiser, with valuation responsibilities; or any equivalent combination of education and experience. Must obtain designation as a MAAO or IAAO within two years of hire.
Salary: $81,737.41 – $106,258.63
